十月怀胎终非易，临盆更是一朝难。再过两天翰林就要满月了，还是有必要追记一下他出生的过程，以期将来他长大后庆祝生日时不忘妈妈曾遭受的苦难。

五月初的尼亚加拉，正值春末夏初，初鸣的惊雷震碎了瀑布下方岩石上的冰层，也震醒了蛰伏半年的动植物，南迁过冬的候鸟也从佛罗里达回来了，盘旋在鲜花盛开的这片土地上。波澜壮阔的瀑布吸引了来自全世界各种肤色的游客们。水仙、郁金香、玉兰花、樱花也早已在枝头争奇斗妍，秃了数月的树木也长出了碧嫩的新芽，枯黄的小草也恢复了往日的活力。

就在这草长莺飞的美好季节里，翰林也迫不及待地想从娘胎里蹦出来与我们相聚。怀孕初期，身体强壮的妈妈并没有太多妊娠反应。但到了后期，医生却发现妈妈血糖有点偏高，铁含量也稍不足。在随后的一段时间里，妈妈一边上班，一边奔走于各医院门诊，去看糖尿病专家和内科医生。而且每天定时监测、控制饮食（少吃大米、少食多餐等），总算把血糖含量控制在指定范围之内，但医生为了安全起见，还是决定让妈妈提前分娩，担心婴儿长得太大，临盆生产比较困难。 Continue reading →
